Bayesian Epistemology & Media Polarization

How does media volume manipulation affect rational belief formation? This work argues that overwhelming message volume can defeat Bayesian updating even for ideal rational agents, shifting moral responsibility from individuals to institutions that control information flow.

AI Consciousness Ethics

Drawing on Talmudic ethical frameworks, I develop principles for responsible AI consciousness research. The "Suffering Toasters" methodology proposes sensory deprivation tests rather than capability assessments for detecting machine consciousness—focusing on what matters morally.

Geometric Entropy & Thermodynamics

Entropy measures epistemic uncertainty within physically-determined boundaries. This framework connects information theory to relativistic thermodynamics and offers a dissolution of the Loschmidt paradox through careful attention to what entropy actually represents.

Cosmology & Early Universe

My PhD work focused on small field models of inflation that yield high gravitational wave signals, demonstrating the breakdown of analytic approximations for these models. Later, at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics, I studied spectator axion-SU(2) field dynamics during inflation, exploring the validity of the isotropic attractor solution and its observable signatures in the primordial power spectrum.
